Hotfixes are intended to correct only the problem that is described in their associated Knowledge Base article. Apply them only to systems that are experiencing the specific problem that is described. Hotfixes have not yet been throughly tested across a wide range of configurations. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by the problem, it is recommend that you wait for the next service pack that contains the hotfix (A note is included to indicate if the hotfix is included in Service Pack 1). Some of these hotfixes are available from Microsoft's website, while others are only available by
contacting Microsoft, but have been 'leaked' onto the web and are linked to below.
